Lane County Formula Fund Plan
The LTD Board approved all STIF Formula Fund applications by resolution on December 14, 2022.
ODOT approved the Lane County STIF Formula Fund Plan for the 2024-2025 biennium in May of 2023 for transit projects in Lane County.
Recommended Prioritized Project List
The Lane County STIF Advisory Committee unanimously voted to recommend to the LTD Board that all proposed projects be funded. The STIF Advisory Committee recommended the following prioritization:
- Serving vulnerable populations
- Project scalability
- Need for maintaining matching funds for future grant requests
Applications
The STIF Formula Fund application process is now closed for the 2024-2025 biennium covering the period from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025.
Applications for STIF Formula Funds for the 2024-2025 biennium were due October 18, 2022.
Lane Council of Governments, on behalf of Lane Transit District, accepted project proposals for STIF Formula Funds from qualified Public Transportation Service Providers in Lane County. Two PTSPs in Lane County submitted applications: Lane Transit District and Lane Council of Governments.
This was the first application cycle since the Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC) approved the consolidation of two transit funding types in 2022: the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF) and the former Special Transportation Fund (STF).
