As the Qualified Entity, Lane Transit District worked with potential sub-recipients to develop a sub-allocation method for funds outside of Lane Transit District and a sub-allocation map for funds inside of Lane Transit District using 2022 employment information.
Public Transportation Service Providers (PTSPs) in and outside of the Lane Transit District were invited to provide feedback on four strategies at a meeting on August 28, 2024. Entities that were invited to provide feedback included LTD, LCOG, and the cities of Coburg, Eugene, Springfield, Florence, Oakridge, Westfir, Veneta, Junction City, Lowell, Dunes City, Creswell, and Cottage Grove. Attendees representing the following entities attended the meeting on August 28: LTD, Lane Council of Governments, Creswell, Eugene, Florence, Oakridge, Springfield, and Veneta.
The input gathered from these entities resulted in a final out-of-district and an additional in-district sub-allocation map.
