For the 2019-2021 biennium, Lane Transit District worked with Public Transportation Service Providers (PTSP) across the county to develop a sub-allocation method for funds outside of Lane Transit District and a sub-allocation map for funds inside of Lane Transit District using 2016 employment information.
Public Transportation Service Providers (PTSPs) outside of Lane Transit District were invited to provide feedback on two sub-allocation strategies at a meeting held in September 2018 and through follow-up email communications. PTSPs inside Lane County were invited to provide feedback on a sub-allocation strategy in January 2019.
Providers and municipalities invited to provide feedback included:
- Lane Transit District
- Lane Council of Governments
- Lane County
- The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians
- The cities of Florence, Oakridge, Westfir, Dunes City, and Cottage Grove
The input gathered from these entities resulted in a final out-of-district sub-allocation map and an additional in-district sub-allocation map. In 2020, Lane Transit District updated the sub-allocation maps using 2018 employment information.
